Over the past few years,  sales of pocket pc have increased dramatically due to the devices' popularity. As a result, these devices have replaced desktop computers in an increasingly wireless world. In this bachelor's thesis, I will describe different technologies that can be used with these computers. In the following chapters, I will try to explain programming in DirectX. The aim is for the reader to be familiarized with this framework, its usage, and problem-solving techniques. In the last chapter, I propose and implement image viewer, image upload, and tagging in 3D.
Geocaching Support on Pocket PCs with GPS

Modern technologies of pocket computers (personal digital asistents, PDA) and navigation systems - how to combine them to have a fun? This is the question, that this work tries to answer. In the first few chapters, the work informs reader about the GPS technology, about Geocaching stash hunting game and about technology of pocket computers. A Concept and implementation of WMGeo program, which could be the Geocaching solution for the PocketPC, is presented.
Navigation Focused on Geocaching

The thesis deals with design and implementation of application for navigation focused on game Geocaching. Program works on Windows Mobile platform. It allows users to read the information about cache fast and easily and via GPS navigation takes player to the cache. The theoretical section introduces GPS navigation issue, rules of Geocaching and description of aplication itself. The aim of the practical section is to create a program and test it in real environment.

Control of mobile robot

This thesis describes questions of developing the system for remote and presence control of a mobile robot (wheelchair). It is concerned with choice of a proper protocol for communications via wireless network, transmission of images from webcam and data from joystick. Next objective of the thesis is recognizing surrounding obstacles using ultrasonic range finders. Thesis describes observation arisen from using this type of sensors. One of the most important points of the thesis is to discuss the safety of usage of the developed system. In conclusion, possibilities for future development are stated.
Position Tracking with GPS and PDA

This work presents steps in creation of remote position tracking application. Document introduces history of geographical positioning and navigation, and describes development of navigation from primitive utilities to complex radio navigation systems. Global Positioning System is described in more detail including NMEA protocol used by GPS receivers. This work also presents several current navigation applications. Based on obtained information work presents analysis, object-oriented design and implementation of remote position tracking system.
SIP Client for Windows Mobile

The main objective of this thesis is the design and implementation of client software, which will be able to conduct a phone connection through the packet network. Signalling protocol SIP together with RTP, the protocol for the transmission of multimedia, is used for this intention. Structure and functioning of the SIP protocol and RTP protocol is analyzed in this thesis. This is introducing with the issue, not a detailed study of these instruments. In addition, a brief overview of the Windows Mobile operating system for which the application is intended primarily is released. The characteristic of several libraries that have been considered for use in the application is briefly described in this thesis. Next the design of solution and the analysis of the program follow. In the last part the functioning of the program is described and its behavior is tested in various model situations.

The report deals with creating applications for Pocket PC, designed to aid with terrain mapping process. Topic falls within the field of geographic information systems (GIS), so the text begins with an analysis of related topics such as GIS itself, processed data characteristics or global positioning systems (GPS). Available handheld platforms are discussed and based on analysis of existing commercial application, the requirements on developed program are set. Description of application architecture and some implementation details follow. The conclusion is devoted to testing functionality by mapping the real geospatial object.
Antz Game for Mobile Devices

This Bachelor's thesis describes the basics of game development for mobile devices. It contains a description of common mobile platforms and tries to choose one of them, suitable for developing of simple card game Antz. Next it describes design and implementation of this game on platform Windows Mobile and programming language C#. Major part of this document dwells on graphical user interface development. At the end it discusses future extensions of the game and common problems of game development for mobile devices.
Porting Perl on Windows Mobile OS

Last chapter is devoted to tests of interpreter on Windows Mobile platform.
